The 24th National IKO-MATSUSHIMA Kyokushin Karate Championship and opening of a new Dojo was held at Johar Town, Lahore recently.
Pakistan Karate Organization hold various contests in which local teams participated. The aim of this event was for climate change that affected most provinces of Pakistan. Punjab Green clinched the 1st position; team leader was Saima Batool, Black Belt, 2nd Dan Japan (international player).
Punjab Kyokushin HQ, Lahore got 2nd position; team leader was Sensie M Amjad Prince (senior most member). Gujranwala Kyokushin Club grabbed 3rd position; team leader was M Adeel, Black Belt Japan (international player).
Tahira Nadeem, Black Belt, 2nd Dan, Japan performed senior Kata and motivated female instructors/members about Kyokushin karate for the need of the day. She was assisted by Alishba Zahra, Aaila Zahra, Zoela Fatima, Alizay, Laeeqa, Esha, Fizza, Sehrosh, Alexia etc.


Senior members Senpai Ali Adnan, Black Belt 2nd Dan Japan; Wilson, Ali Raza, Umer, Sabir Hussain Butt, Hassan Butt, M Jawad, Ammar , M Mohsin, Asad Najum, Baqar Najum, M Fiaz performed their skills excellently and got cash awards.
Shihan Atta Hussain Butt, International karate master instructor IKO-MATSUSHIMA Japan announced that the 25th National Championships will be held in March 2023 at Lahore.


On this occasion Atta Hussain, international karate master and instructor, IKO Matsushima; Dr Hamid Subzwari, President Dojo Johar Town, Col Dr Mazher Abbas, Shehla Sabir, Principal Al Aysha High School; Innayat Ali Shah, DSP; Muntazir Mehdi Banker, Mumaeza Batool, Dr Zahra Subzwari, Dr Wajahet Hussain, CEO, DSC Solutions; Dr Khalid, Fab G CEO LEO Production, Qasim Raza Subzwari, Hyder Raza Subzwari, Mariam Zahra, Zain Raza, Omar Mufti Hassen, Habib Corp; Ch Atif Banker, Rabia of Chughtai Lab, Faisal Abbas, Sana Ullah Ansari, M Asif, Accounts Officer, AGP and many more attended the event.
