Faheem wins gold, Moeez silver and Ijaz grabs bronze medal
Pakistani bodybuilder Faheem Malik made history in Bangkok. Faheem won the gold medal for the first time in the country’s history by winning the Pro Card.
According to details, the World Fitness Federation (WFF) Pakistani bodybuilder won the gold medal at the Mr Universe 2022 competitions in Bangkok, Thailand after winning the pro card.
This is the first time that a Pakistani bodybuilder has won a pro card at the international level. In the junior category, Moeez Meher finished second, while Ijaz Haider won the bronze medal for Pakistan in the event, also making history with all three athletes from the trio winning medals. The Pakistani bodybuilder deprived India of the gold medal.
Bodybuilders from 30 countries participated in Mr Universe competitions, three bodybuilders from Pakistan participated in Mr Universe under the leadership of WFF Pakistan President Waseem Qureshi. Among the countries that participated in these competitions were Australia, South Africa, Malaysia, Mexico, India, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan and Pakistan.
