In an emergent General Council Meeting, held in Lahore under the chairmanship of Muhammad Khalid Mahmood, the PunjabBoxing Association (PBA) expressed solidarity with fellow sisters and brothers affected by the floods. The house also decided to extend all possible support to flood affectees.
The Council also discussed various issues including the organization of events at the provincial level, adoption of the latest and modernized governance practices and measures to strengthen athletes, coaches and technical officials in their endeavors of promotion of boxing.
Affiliation was granted to the Gujrat Divisional Boxing Association, the newly established division of Punjab. Following officials attended the meeting: Muhammad Khalid Mahmood, Chairman; Azam Khan Kalair, Vice President; Lt Col Muhammad Nasir Ijaz Tung, Secretary General; Syed Jamshaid Khalid Kazmi, Treasurer.
